Nanaki Yushiro's Collection of Mystic Stories
When a man visits a rural village to look for a missing girl, her aunt tells him that she was chosen as a priestess for a special ceremony. Until the ceremony ends, she has to spend days in a small hut and purify herself, the aunt says. The man decides to wait until the ceremony ends, for he was sure that the girl still loves him as well. Then Nanaki comes to the village in search of old rituals for his new horror novel. He tells the man that there is something creepy about this village...that there was murder last summer and it was concealed completely. They never knew...that they were about to witness the gruesome, terrifying ritual... Creepy Japanese horror story with a big twist!
